Workers First Call – summary explanation

Our success over the last 9 years working with over 1,000 companies, shows we prevent work comp claims and costs by over 40%. We save the company on average about $10,000 per incident, relieve the supervisor of making medical decisions and guard against over-utilization & unnecessary case management or other claims services.

Now the best part ~ it costs you less than $6 a month for each of your employees with no additional fees. This is an all-inclusive fee with no set-up fee, annual maintenance fee, or monthly minimums regardless of the number of accidents. This fee also includes doing all the required reports including an Incident Report, and if urgent care is needed, the Provider Notice, the First Report of Injury, and initiating the OSHA report.

Summary of how Workers 1st Call & Report works for your company.

When an employee gets injured, the supervisor or injured employee immediately calls the toll-free Workers 1st Call phone number 24/7/365 from anywhere.A Registered Nurse answers the triage calls immediately 24/7/365The Registered Nurse then determines and provides the appropriate care: first aid, self-care, urgent care, or the ER, and texts instructions and when necessary, directions to both the injured worker, the supervisor, and the appropriate medical facilityAfter the call, the RN immediately populates & distributes the incident report, First Report of Injury & initiates the OSHA LogCalls  are recorded & accessible by the client

We are dedicated to guiding an injured employee to the appropriate level of care. This means we evaluate all the factors: injury details, personal medical history and medications, and other information to have a holistic view of the person on the injury call.

We look to avoid unnecessary trips to an urgent care or ER for an injury that does not warrant that level of care, as over 70% of all workplace injuries are minor and do not require clinical intervention. But we also ensure that the tough guy mentality doesn’t prevent an employee from receiving the appropriate level of treatment. When an injury does require clinical intervention, we direct the injured employee and supervisor to the appropriate clinic and send the Provider notice to the clinic. As mentioned earlier after the call the RN immediately populates and distributes all the required reports. (The Company is in full control of what reports they want generated and who they want receiving the reports). Each employee is unique, and so is their injury. We help ensure your employee has the best possible experience in the unfortunate situation of having a workplace injury.
