User Referral Program Terms and Conditions

Sezzle Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Sezzle”), from time to time, may offer certain consumers of services, goods and/or products (“User,” “Sezzle User,” or “Shopper”), the opportunity to refer friends, family, and known acquaintances who are not existing Sezzle Users (“New Customers”) to Sezzle through the User Referral Program (“Program”), offered through the Sezzle website, via a mobile application, through direct e-mail communication to Users, or any other Sezzle interface whether through Sezzle directly or a Sezzle merchant (“Platform”), subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein.
1. Binding Agreement.
By using the Platform to participate in the Program, User agrees to be bound by this User Referral Program Terms and Conditions.
2. Program Details.
a. Users can earn up to a maximum of $150 (“Cap”) in Sezzle Spend per year. The $150 may be allocated based on the respective referral award program being promoted (each, a “Referral Award”).
b. Users can invite an unlimited number of New Customers who are not existing Sezzle Users; but no Referral Awards are paid in excess of the Cap.
c. New Customers will receive a referral bonus (“Referral Bonus”) immediately after opening an account with Sezzle, which may take up to 2 weeks to be processed and credited towards the New Customer’s account. New Customer will receive the Referral Bonus even if User received the maximum amount of $150 in Referral Awards.
d. Users will receive a Referral Award after (i) the New Customer places a qualified order (minimum purchase of $40) using their Sezzle account, and (ii) Sezzle successfully receives the first payment from such New Customer, so long as User has not yet received the maximum amount of $150 in Referral Awards. Users will receive a notification when they receive their Referral Award.
e. Only select Users will be offered the opportunity to participate in the Program, including, without limitation, only those Users in good standing with Sezzle, as determined by Sezzle in Sezzle’s sole discretion. To determine your eligibility to participate in the Program, please contact us.
f. Users shall not engage in any fraudulent or illegal activity when participating in the Program.
3. Other Terms and Conditions.
a. The Program will be available to select Users until the end of the calendar year; thereafter, a new program may commence. Sezzle reserves the right to disqualify any User or New Customer at any time from participation in the Program for violation of this User Referral Program Terms and Conditions or of Sezzle’sAcceptable Use Policy.
b. Users can participate in the Program as follows: User will send New Customers a unique link to sign up with Sezzle. New Customers must then use that link to sign up and open a new Sezzle account. After New Customers make a qualified purchase of at least $40, within 90 days after opening their account, and make the first payment to Sezzle, User will receive the Referral Award, so long as User has not yet received the maximum amount of $150 in Referral Awards. Once Users receive a Referral Award, such participation in the Program shall be considered a single, successful “Referral.”
c. Users’ Referral Awards after every successful Referral will be the amount stated on your User Referral page. If no amount is stated, your Referral Award is $5 in Sezzle Spend.
d. All Referrals must comply with these User Referral Program Terms and Conditions.
e. Sezzle may, from time to time, offer User referral promotions similar to the Program where the referral award offered in the promotion is the same or greater than Referral Awards previously offered to certain Users participating in the Program. Such promotions will be available for a limited time, as particularly set forth in marketing materials for such promotions.
f. Users’ Referral Awards may take up to 14 days to be processed and credited to your Sezzle account.
g. Users’ Referral Awards are valid for 90 days after they are credited to Users’ accounts.
h. Users’ Referral Awards hold no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or cash equivalents.
