By participating in the Klarna Referral program (the “Program”), you agree to the following terms and conditions (the “Terms”). Klarna may terminate, cancel, suspend or modify the Program or these Terms at any time, in its sole discretion.
The Program allows existing Klarna consumers (“Advocate(s)”) to invite people they know to download the Klarna app and sign up to become a Klarna consumer (“Referred Consumer”). The Program also allows Advocates to invite people they know to use specific products within the Klarna app. When an Advocate refers a new Klarna consumer through this Program who fulfills the requirements for a Valid Referral and the consumer completes the Eligible Action(s) (as defined below), the Advocate and/or the Referred Consumer can earn rewards, as described below in Instructions. When an Advocate refers someone, the recipient of the personal referral link and anyone with access to it will be aware that the Advocate is a Klarna consumer, and be able to view the Advocate’s first name and profile image.
Instructions
• All steps must be completed between November 23, 2021 and March 30, 2022.
• The Advocate shares a personal referral link with the Referred Consumer.
• The Referred Consumer should not have used any Klarna services before and must accept the invitation by entering his or her personal email address on the Advocate’s invite page and complete the following steps within 30 days of accepting the Advocate’s invitation:
1. Download the Klarna app and login (United States only) using the same email address entered on the Advocate’s invite page;
2. Join Klarna rewards club in the app;
3. Make a first purchase using Klarna in the app; and
4. Make a first payment/installment towards a Klarna purchase as a member of Klarna rewards club.
• The Referred Consumer must be a real person. Klarna investigates potentially fraudulent or duplicative referrals.
What are the rewards?
• In the case of a Valid Referral that meets the Eligibility Requirements, the Advocate will receive a 30 USD Amazon.com Gift Card (to be sent to the email address registered with the Advocate’s Klarna account)
• The Advocate is entitled to receive a maximum of 10 rewards. This means that the Advocate can make multiple referrals but will not receive more than 10 gift cards.
• In the case of a Valid Referral that meets the Eligibility Requirements, the Referred Consumer will receive a 30 USD Amazon.com Gift Card (to be sent to the email address registered with the Referred Consumer’s Klarna account)
• The Referred Consumer may also receive a reward as defined in the Terms & Conditions for Klarna rewards club.
