Fetterman fit for office…. Really?

I’ll be the first to admit I’m not a fan of Dr Oz, although my reasons are more superficial. For a medical doctor to consistently, everyday choose a shirt that shows a minimum of inches of chest hair – it’s just unhygienic, common. But when it comes to politics Dr Oz vs Fetterman – I can’t see how anyone considers Fetterman a victory for voters. With the wardrobe of Zelenskyy and the gaffes of Biden and lack of experience rivaling AOC – man, was Dr Oz really that bad? He’s smart, he’s a fairly progressive Republican – and he can complete a sentence!

Oz was seemingly villainized for questioning Fetterman’s physical health to fulfill his duties. It wasn’t a secret he was recovering from a stroke, but real talk, that’s permanent brain damage. It’s not discrimination against the handicapped to question his ability to fulfill his duties as an American Senator. As horrible as it sounds, we would never elect a senator with Down’s Syndrome, not because they’re bad people, or because the system is unfair – they medically can’t fulfill the function of the job. Now, just months after lying to voters about being fit for office, obviously, he’s now taken a leave of absence for clinical depression. Name one private sector job that allows you to check yourself into a mental hospital on the company insurance (taxpayer dollars by the way) your first month on the job and keep your job. There aren’t any.

I don’t like Dr Oz, not because he isn’t smart, and who better to start bipartisan cooperation than a mainstream media darling- I would have guessed he’s a Democrat, I don’t like him because I feel like hygiene is super important for doctors, especially during a pandemic, and chest hair disgusts me. If you don’t want to be judged by shallow people don’t be a tv personality or a politician. But seriously voters – Fetterman a senator? Maybe in Ukraine, he apparently wears the presidential dress code for over there. But in America, we questioned whether he was fit to begin a six year term and in the first month on the job, it wasn’t hard to foresee, it’s not surprising, we got a definite answer – a sitting senator in a mental hospital.

In America anybody really can achieve anything…..
